Fibreglass moulding company offers pultruded profiles. These are manufactured from a variety of high performance thermo setting resins and fibre reinforcements, viz, glass, carbon, etc. Raw materials used for manufacturing: epoxy resins - made by bisphenol-a epichlorohydrin used as binder, class-f application [up to 155°c]; polyester resins - isophthalic acid based unsaturated [polyester resin], class-b application [up to 120°c]; reinforcement, e-glass; rovings - unidirectional strength mat [csm]; woven-roving [bi-directional strength] class-h - product will be made by using suitable thermosetting resins; fire-retardant - profile will be made by using suitable resin system or by adding additives; colour - polyester sections can be made in different colour by using suitable pigments to the resin mix. Properties of all roving reinforced polyester/epoxy fmc-glastrex profiles. Profiles offered: round rods, square bars, rectangular bars, gratings, dog bone and hat profiles, in many sizes. Application: due to their superior electrical, thermal and mechanical properties they find wide application in electrical equipments such as transformers, motors, switchgears, circuit breakers, and strain insulators; and due to their excellent resistance to acidic and alkaline environment, they are used as floor grating [walkways], cable trays in chemical, fertilizer, refinery and lightning arrestor industries.
